NSV: I bought a bikini!

Now I just have to gather the courage to wear it in public! I'm heading to LA on Sunday, and I'm contemplating not bringing a backup suit so that I can't chicken out.

Anyway, I still have a lot of work to do to get where I'd like to be (my body fat is around 22-23% still, and I'd love to get it down to like 18% so that all the muscle I've managed to build with my lifting is visible) but this is still leaps and bounds from where I started! So I felt like sharing :)

    Congrats! I had to leave my back up swimsuit at home in order to wear my bikini, but you will be glad you did :)

    Haha. A fair point! For some reason I'm way more comfortable with MFP people than the whole wide world though. I feel like you all have been there, so you understand the fear!

    You are only allowed to bring a back-up if it is another bikini that has the same or less fabric.

    I'm so scared to post me in a bikini on here, I'm almost to my goal weight too, and that's my big thing - getting into a bikini for the first time in 10 years :)

    YOU GO GIRL. Don't bring the back up suit. GO OUT THERE AND STRUT IT!
