The closer you get to your goal the harder it will be to lose weight. So I've heard, I'm no expert

Totally normal, no-one could keep up losing at the rate you did for the first couple of months. Just keep eating a good balanced diet and eat back at least half of any exercise calories you earn & you'll continue at a more regular pace.

Sounds like you should be thanking your lucky stars!!! The average weight loss is 1-2lbs a week, so even only losing 3 lbs in half a month, you're only 1 lb away from the average for an entire month!. You're doing awesome, keep it up.

You look really pretty in your profile pic, and I can not believe you need to lose weight..(that is a compliment x)

But yes, the first month will most likely be shedding some water weight, the second month will be your body adjusting to the water loss and now you are on the weight loss wagon.

so just keep on doing what you have been doing and don`t drop calorie intake in the hope that you will lose weight faster, just take it slowly x

weight loss will reach a plateau at some point, just keep on with things

Totally normal. As hard as it is, try not to measure your results by the scale (I'm slowly learning this!) Measure by how your clothes fit and take measurements... the scale can fluctuate up to 5 pounds from day to day... water weight, bloating, time of the month, all kinds of things affect it. All that said, your losses are totally normal. You are going to lose more upfront and the closer to your goal you get, the smaller you get (and the more your body wants to hold onto the weight you have for survival reasons) the tougher it is for the weight to come off. Try switching up your workout routine. It's normal to plateau once your body gets used to a certain workout. The closer you get to you goal you might need to ramp up your workouts and clean out your diet more so than before. You are doing awesome! Keep it up and don't let the scale discourage you :) I've had to lose big amounts of weight 3 different times in my life (two were post pregnancy) and the same has been true for me... the closer I get to my goal - the harder it is to lean out and get the pounds off. Your losses are awesome, you are doing a lot right so keep it up :)

I have been doing 1200 calories plus I eat back my exercise calories (about 200 a day). All I drink is water except maybe 1 coke a week. My original plan was to only drink alcohol every other week but been drinking every weekend here lately and thought since I was going WAY over calories one time a week that was causing the weight loss to slow down. And I want to drink this weekend! Lol
