I'm sure this has been asked thousand times before, but how am I meant to know how much exactly am I eating in each serving so I can be accurate adding to my food diary?

Measuring cups are liars like my dad who went out for cigarets 20 years ago and has not been back since! :sad:0

I would definitely recommend a food scale, especially in the beginning. Our eyes are often MUCH bigger than our stomachs, and a lot of people can't visualise what a normal serving size of different types of food is. I found it safest to weigh things. Now I've been doing it for a while I am much better at guestimating portion sizes and approximate numbers of calories in those portions, but I still prefer the "cold hard facts" of the food scale. I weigh everything except liquids, then I use a measuring cup specifically for liquids. It has helped tremendously. Good luck!!!0
