Not ethnicity, but nationality. I have been mistaken for a Swede & a Canadian, often, & I've never left Australia!

With my natural dark hair, people have asked me if I was Lebanese :noway:
    I am a German/Irish gal.

I'm a white girl (British, Scottish, Irish, and German)

Although I do get people who call me at work and ask me things in Spanish. Even though I answer the phone in perfect English with no accent.

My boyfriend on the other hands gets it A LOT. He looks kind of Italian (dark hair, dark eyes, olive complexion), but he is Turkish. He's also been asked if he's Hawaiian because of his last name having a lot of vowels.

i've been asked on a few different occasions if i'm Brazilian. I find it bizarre, as I'm German/Irish. I take it as a ginormous compliment though. When i think of Brazilians i think of beauty.

Not me but my husband has black hair and medium color skin and people think he is Mexican and will try to talk spanish to him. Shockingly he is Irish and Polish. :)
