There isnt a healthir version IMO... it is what it is. I love tatertot casserole, and always try to make room in my day for two servings, when i make it. I know its not what you want to hear...but a 500ish calorie dinner isnt that bad. Add a salad on the side and enjoy0

Ingredients
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 lb ground beef (93%)
1 (10 oz.) can Cream of Chicken Soup (98% fat free/40% less sodium)
1 (16 oz) pkg. Frozen Mixed Vegetables
! (32 oz) pkg. Great Value Tater Tots
1/2 cup Kraft 2% Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Garlic Powder, Black Pepper to taste
Tips
I cooked vegetables for 3 to 5 minutes in the microwave before mixing them in with the rest of the ingredients.
Directions
Spray a skillet with cooking spray and brown ground beef with onions until meat is done. Combine meat, vegetables, soup, 1/2 can water and seasoning together in a 13 x 9 baking pan. Top with tater tots. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes, until bubbly. Top with cheese bake about 3 to 5 minutes longer until cheese melts.
Serving Size: Makes 10 servings

Here is a lower calorie recipe for tater tot casserole. I have used Fat free greek yogurt, low fat sour cream, fat free soups and fat free cheese in all of my casserole make overs and my family hasn't had a complaint yet Hope this is helpful!!
Ingredients
1 bag frozen tater tots
1 8oz container Fat Free Greek Yogurt
1 can 98% Campbell's Fat Free Broccoli Cheese Soup
1/2 cup skim milk
1 bag Kraft Free Shredded Cheddar (divided in half)
1 onion, diced (red or yellow)
Chopped fresh chives (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste.
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 350F.
In a large bowl, whisk yogurt, soup, cream cheese and milk together.
Add tator tots, chives, onions, 1/2 of the cheddar and mix together.
Pour into greased 13X9 baking dish, sprinkle rest of cheese on top.
Bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until top begins to brown and ingredients set.
