Gadget Advice

I see a lot of people talk about HRM's, Fitbits, Nike Fuel, Garmin watches, etc. and so I thought a forum (I searched but did not find a good summary) might be helpful. Three questions:
1. Do most of you who use gadgets like using two? For example, do you use a fitbit and a HRM or is one sufficient?
2. Do the all in one devices work well? (I think there are watches that are supposed to measure everything)? Or is one better off buying two separate devices?
3. From which do you get the most bang for the buck?
I thank you all in advance for any insight / advice you might provide. Cheers!

I have a Garmin FR60. It has the HRM and foot pod. I use it for everything. I have a pal that uses a Garmin for his speed, splits, distance, etc and a Polar for HRM. He says they're both the best in their respective fields.
I suppose it depends on the application. Garmin doesn't tell you much about steps taken while playing tennis but I think the Fitbit would.

I have a Garmin forerunner 305. Its great for running and cycling but doesn't calculate calorie burn for other activities. Im thinking of getting another one to use for other types of cardio. I like the idea of the fitbit type devices but don't really want to wear something like that all day.0

Oh, and I didn't like the Timex running watches because their online software required a pricey subscription and Garmin did not.0

I'm pretty confident just from experience that my BMR and TDEE calculations are accurate, so I don't really have an interesting in getting a gadget that tells you your calorie burns in a whole day (fitbit). I have a Polar FT4 HRM that I use during cardio workouts and I love it. It also helps me become a better runner since I can see when my heart rate gets too high and I need to slow down a little. The HRM was $60 and well worth it for me. I got it last August and still use it all the time.0

I use the Nike sport watch with GPS. And my polar hrm links to it. I love everything about it.0

I have a Garmin 610(with HRM). Mainly use it for running(pace, distance, calorie burn) but it also has an indoor setting. I tend to use that for when I run intervals on the treadmill or when I use the elliptical. The online software is very good and easy to use.0
