The Marine Diet

Someone sent me this link today and said they were starting it with a group of their friends.. Take a look, this is crazy right?!?

I mean I know I am really overweight but surely nobody can exist on this amount of food for 2 weeks? Don't get me wrong, when she said "you could lose 20lbs in 2 weeks" I did for a split second ponder the possibilities but really.. I have kids to consider, this would end with me passing out surely?

Sounds pretty crazy to me. And the bloggers definitely aren't an authoritative source. To paraphrase: We're not sure if you could substitute bananas for the 9 eggs that are the only thing you can eat on the first day -- why don't you try it and let us know how it goes?
    o.O
... Yeah... I'd pass on it.

My coworker tried this and made it 2.5 days the first time, tried it again and literally didn't make it through the entire day. it looks crazy to me.

Yeah, I am not really sure about the "science" behind it. It sounds a bit like extreme atkins to me?
  • Its a fact, i tried this out worked well. The trick is you must lots and lots of water.
Also this diet restricts your vitamins, so you must have vitamin pills.
But for long term weight loss this is not ideal. Try Keto for sustained long term weight loss.

Me and a load of girls at work did this and it definitely worked! It's only a short term option but good to loose a few pounds in a short period of time if needed :)
