I felt so weak today and didn't even do all of today's Insanity workout :( But i wanna stay strong starting Monday It's a new week and the start of month 2 of Insanity I am really going to try because i don't wanna feel like i did this week!! I don't even want to weight in tomorrow i know what i will see will be disappointing but Monday new week new start!!! I have to get myself motivated again

I don't know you, but I'm hearing this:

You're not doing what you love for exercise.

I swim. That's what I LOVE to do. I spent $250 on a hotel pool membership. I bought killer swim gloves, I watched YouTube videos to learn how to put my head underwater and swim. I keep my gear in the car and I'm always ready to swim at a moments notice.

As a result, I do not have to push myself to workout. I have to STOP myself from working out twice a day!

I don't HAVE to swim, I GET to swim.

Do what you love and you'll love what you o.

I agree with onwarddownward. Explore different exercises, mix and match a bit. I started C25K in Jan, graduated in March and now I've got the running bug. I now get up early and go running before the rest of the family are even awake. I ran my 1st 5K last weekend and I'm already looking forward to a 10K in July. I enjoy riding my bicycle, so do this on odd days. I want to get in to "proper" swimming (interesting onwarddownward what you write about viewing YouTube to learn technique, must do this).

I did try the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred beginning of March (as so many people were raving about it) but only managed the 1st 10 days, I just got bored with it.

Shake yourself off friend and start the week anew. You can do this :flowerforyou:

You can do it, whatever you do don't lose your momentum. Just carry on working out and eating healthy. Even if you don't lose weight immediately odds are you will still be getting stronger and healthier. We've all had low energy days when it seems so challenging to get up and exercise. Sometimes it's okay to rest that day. You seem to be 1/3 into achieving your goal weight, you're doing great just keep your spirits high!

I agree with onward. I tried the 30 day shred and I didn't like it. I gave it 4 days and I felt my motivation for everything else dropping. It just wasn't for me. Do things you enjoy doing. I love walking including hill walking. I feel a sense of satisfaction when I've climbed a hill even if I swear my way to the top. I like going with my husband so we can chat or going alone so I can really listen to some new music and get some thinking time to myself. Find what you enjoy.

I think you are losing motivation, because as it happens with a lot of people you are bored out of your brain.
Switch it up, theres a million and one exercise programs and just because everyone is obsessed with Insanity at the moment, it certainly doesn't make you a failure if you do that one day a week and do other stuff on other days. If I did the same thing every day I'd kill myself!
And think of it this way hun.... if you give up you only go back to how it was when you decided to start this.
You have to do it for you and you need to remember the reasons you started.
Plan your activity and love what you do, even though it feels so hard at the time.
Plan your meals to avoid random food grabs.
Cravings are nothing. Literally nothing. Stay strong and you've got a lot of support here. We are all going through the same things!
