How to shrink my belly!! Help!!

Hi guys

Really need some advice! Well I'm 28 a mother of a lil princess which I had a c section 15 months ago! I have been trying to lose weight since and gradually I am losing the weight. Started at 155lbs down to 138lbs. My main issue has always been my belly. I am an embarrassing 38 inches around belly button which slightly hangs down. I really hate the size of it and the fact that is slightly hangs down, how can I lose that? I have started jogging for about an hour a day. The last week I haven't with personal issues going on but will running help me lose my belly. Or should I be doing running as well as mayb 30ds??

I cannot go to the gym for child care issues. But I can do anything at home!

Any advise please!! Desperate to get down to atleast 32inches and toned.

Thanks

Continuous diet, that's literally the only way you will lose it. You can't spot reduce fat, your body will take the fat from wherever it wants to first (genetics). The belly is usually the last place to lose it

Since I've started I've lost about 12 in in my mid section area. Now im faaaar from having a flat stomach, I am about 38in around as well but that's coming from being 49". All I can say is cardio and weight training along with HIIT should help work with sucking some of that fat out. Like I said, I'm far from flat stomach but that has been what helped me mostly lose 12".
  • Look up Diastasis Recti. It's a separation of the transverse ab muscles that is quite common with pregnancy. There are targeted exercises to work other muscle groups in your abs to bring the "6-pack" muscles back together (can be found in a google search, as well). It turns out a lot of doctors do not talk about this post pregnancy. My midwives and GP sure didn't.

I have made leaps and bounds with cardio and weights, but discovering I had this and how to rehabilitate has made a huge difference, too. Good luck!!!

This but also add in some heavy weight training to help your body maintain it's lean body mass. More muscle means a tighter body. Outside of that, a moderate deficit (like 1 lb per week) and aim to get enough protein (1g per lb of lean body mass or around 75-80% of your body weight in grams of protein).
