Weekends

Hi everyone :)

I hope you are all doing well. I am writing as I was hoping that I could get some feedback on how to stay on track on the weekends. Weekend are my tough time and I typically struggle with making healthy choices. How do you stay on track? Please share your strategies! :)

    I write out what I'm going to eat a few days in advance....then I stick to it like glue so I don't even have to think about what to eat. And if there's something going on (party, dinner out, etc), I plan for that as well. Good luck!

    For me weekends are no different than the rest of the week. That probably partially due to the fact that I work weekends. That being said, I treat my days off as if it was any other day. I get up I exercise, I plan out my meals everything from breakfast all the way down to dinner. That way I have a plan, I'm armed I know what I'm doing. Yes, life throws us curve balls but I deal with that when it happens. I always pack water and snacks to take with me when I leave the house. if something comes up and I go out to lunch or dinner with friends or my husband, I don't beat myself up over it. after all we have to enjoy life.

    Thank you so much! I think that I will do planning just like I do for the week on the weekends and really try to stick with that :) I will allow my self one "curve ball" per weekend and start with that!!!!

    Weekends are hard for me too. I just try to get back on track every Monday and not beat myself up about it.

    That is good too! :) I have learned perfectionism is one of the reasons I have gotten so heavy. This is not an all or nothing thing; I am trying to make healthy choices the majority of the time and doing that has allowed me to lose close to 100lbs.

    My weigh-in day is Monday! Luckily the weather has been nice. If I am out working and getting dirty in the garden or flowerbeds, I am NOT inside snacking. That being said, if I'm camping or visiting with friends, then yeah, high calorie snacks and drinks.
