Hello All! Can Crystal Light be considered as part of my water intake?

Yes, it's still water.0

Sure. I use it all the time (well the generic walmart version). I don't think your daily water intake, has to be plain water. I also like to mix frozen berries into my water when I don't use Crystal Light. I will say my favorite version of Crystal Light is the liquid syrup for Soda Stream, but only because it has 0 - 1 calorie (I say 0-1, because even though the label says 0, it probably has close to 1 calorie at least) for every prepared 8 oz cup.0

Sure can. That's pretty much how I get my entire water intake: through drink sticks. But be careful with Crystal Light, they tend to use aspartame as their sweetener. Look for ones that use stevia instead.0

Sure can! I love how it curbs my sweet tooth too!0

I don't see why not. But I would add the 5 cal. to your calorie intake. I make my own flavored water by putting slices of limes (2 slices), 1 slice of lemon, half a cucumber (sliced) and a few drops of peppermint pure extract to a picture of water. I keep adding water to it as I drink it. I also add more peppermint after I've drink half the picture. Do this for 2 days, then dump it and start with new ingredients. Sometimes I add strawberries and watermelon.0

Yes, I count it towards my water in-take0

Yup! It counts as water!
All drinks you can count as water. Your body takes hydration from everything you eat and drink.0 -
I think it's ok. I drink water, crystal light-type enhancers, and green tea. Also sometimes milk or coffee. No pop/soda of any kind. I count it all towards fluid intake.

Sure, it can be considered your water, but log it in your food diary as Crystal Light has calories (about 5 per serving 5x8= 40 calories over a day).
On a side note, I don't use crystal light every day because I find it makes my appetite spike. I don't know if I'm just weird, or if it's just in my head. I prefer to make iced tea with sweet-n-low for some refreshing flavored drinks and no crazy-woman hunger pains.0
