Use the one without the asterisk, it's the MFP entered one and you can select the drop-down for serving size and get 100 g and use that one.

Edit: It's listed as "Pork - Cured, bacon, cooked, pan-fried"

    1. Grab a pack of bacon.

    2. Calculate the nutrition content of 1 pound or kg or whatever.

    3. Make a new entry into the mfp database.

thank you. can you explain a little more about asterisks? i didn't know they meant anything.

When you look-up a food, take Bacon... the ones that have an asterisk are entered by other MFP members. Those without the asterisk are original MFP entries (or ones you have added under "My Food"). The ones MFP puts in tend to be more accurate and have more sizing options. So, if you select an MFP entry and use the serving drop-down, there is usually a 100 g option for most.
