Are 2 hard boiled eggs a day bad for you if your trying to loose 15-20 more pounds or will the fat in them throw me off?

I think eggs are great for losing weight because they are perfectly portioned and high in protein. They do have fat, but not enough to throw off your diet. A large egg is usually only about 80 calories.

I eat regular eggs and duck eggs. I do fine on both, and as the lady before me said, they are perfectly proportioned. The duck eggs are higher in calories though, but yeah, about 75 or 80 calories each for the regular eggs.

Fat is an essential macro nutrient involved in many bodily functions. It is not the scary monster most people think it is.

I had only egg whites while I was trying to get rid of excess weight.

I have whole hard boiled eggs with my breakfast now in my maintenance phase.

I go back to egg whites for the "rest" day from the gym.

I believe eggs are good for my health. Check it out (proteins and heathy fats)

    Good luck in your journey.

Eggs are good. Fat isn't always bad.

I've lost 22 pounds in 2.5 months. At first I was having smoothies for breakfast, then switched to 3 eggs fried in olive oil. The weight loss accelerated greatly when I changed my breakfast menu. For me, the lactose in the smoothies was a problem and the fat in the eggs hasn't been an issue. Listen to your body, and experiment a bit now and then.

Eggs are great though some medical pros suggest limiting them to 3-4 week.

<<<A solid body of research shows that for most people, cholesterol in food has a much smaller effect on blood levels of total cholesterol and harmful LDL cholesterol than does the mix of fats in the diet. Recent research has shown that moderate egg consumption—up to one a day—does not increase heart disease risk in healthy individuals (1, 2) and can be part of a healthy diet.>>>

LOL I was JUST thinking this very question as I bought 2 hardboiled eggs today to work. One was my morning tea break & the other to mash up with tinned tuna , dijon mustard & lite laughing cow cheese.
