I'm keto primal. If you really want help, join the low carb (I opted out of that one because i don't support artificial sweeteners and processed "low carb" diet foods) and/or keto forums. There's too much bs in the general forum to openly discuss anything other than the Standard American Diet, calories in/calories out, everything in moderation, etc etc.

    Real Ketogenic macros are 5% Carbs - 35% Fats - 60% Protein.

    Link provided explains it in-depth.

Right now I have my macros set at 20 carb, 40 fat, 40 protein. (I opened my dairy)
I'm sure i'm not doing things right but, I guess I will learn as I go. When does one start to see any change as in weight loss or inches?
I have be on MFP since Jan. 8th and have only lost about 10 pounds (keep going from 10 to 12 and back to 10), at that time my macros were set at 40-30-30.

    HI,
    I am Paleo/Primal and try to do a 15% carbs, 35% Protein, 50% Fat.
I do not do eat any grains and eat real food. Which means I cook a lot and do not eat any packaged foods.
I have noticed that hormones play a big part for females over 50 concerning weight loss.
I average about a 1 pound a week if I am lucky. But any weight loss is a good weight loss even if it very slow I figure.

Make sure you are getting in some exercise especially any type of weight(resistant) training and hang in there. You are 10 pounds better off than you were a few months ago!

Thanks for the input! I may not have my macros set the right way, but I hope they are somewhat correct, maybe I will try to lower my carbs later, seeing how this goes for now.
