Okay, so i'm on a weight loss journey and have been for some time and I'm lucky that I have the support of my boyfriend. But he's slightly underweight and wants to pack on some weight (healthly) and I've tried helping him but I cook meals with lots of protein but he doesn't eat it as he fills up on Junk when he's at work (he works 12 hour shifts almost 6 days a week) What can I do to help him?

Has anyone else needed to put on weight? he needs to put on about a stone.

Any Advice would be greatly recieved

Thank You :)

Make his meals beforehand and ask him to eat the meal and wait before thinking about the junk.

Has a Doctor recommend he puts on weight? I would get a Dr's opinion on his weight.

Every time he's seen a Dr in the last 2 years they've said he needs to put on weight. He's been asked if he has an eating disorder a few times.

How about saying I was thinking we should start bringing packed lunches to work save a few $ and it would be good for us. Then both take food to work for lunch. It will become a habit. If he has a problem just say I would like us to both become healthier. Or hey I need lose some weight you need to gain lets get on it.

I can't tell you how many times teens and 20 somethings are told to "put on weight" then in t heir later 30's and on, they become overweight.
