Strawberry filled puff pastry with whipped cream
Ingredients:
- 3 sheets puff pastry
- 1/2 lb strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Slice your strawberries and put them in a pot with the sugar and the water. Cook it down until it's syrupy and the strawberries are soft. Let cool, then wrap in puff pastry.
Put on a baking sheet and bake at 350 until the puff pastry is golden brown.
Beat your heavy whipping cream with a hand mixer until it becomes fluffy and light. Add some vanilla if that's your thing.
Top the pastry with the whipped cream.

Nutritional info?? sounds very high in fats and sugars to me0

strawberry turnover! you can buy them in the shops in the uk, they have the cream in the middle of the pastry with the fruit! yummy! not had them for ages!0
