NEED HELP! Proper Calorie Intake?

Okay guys, I need help.
Since January I have lost 16 lbs by eating 1000 calories a day and exercising on avg 3-4 days a week. I am aware this is unhealthy and I do not need a lecture. Just need advice please.
I am interested in trying the 20% TDEE method and I am unsure of how many I should begin to consume a day. MFP always gives me the standard 1200 and I know that is probably not right.
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 125 lbs
Lifestyle: Sedentary (desk job)
I have reads lots of posts about BMR, TDEE, to eat or not to eat calories back, blah blah. Mainly just confused me. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

if you're doing TDEE - 20% don't eat back the cals. i'm doing 1200 and i eat them back - works out the same for me.0

Someone posted a pretty extensive discussion here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/931670-bmr-and-tdee-explained-for-those-needing-a-guide
I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for, but good luck!0 -
yes it can be confusing! doing your numbers you should be eating 1770 a day...now the secret is to vary this 1700, 1400, 2000, 1200 etc. hope this helps:)

Holy crap that looks like it will be a lot more easier to understand! I will read it tonight when I get off work and see what the verdict is. Thank you so much!0
