Female, 5'6
SW: 157lbs
CW: 134lbs
GW: 124lbs
eating between 1300-1600 calories per day.
ok so this is my current weekly exercise schedule
Monday - 1 hour of body pump
Tuesday - 1 hour of spinning
Wednesday - 1 hour of kettlebell
Thursday - 1 hour Body Combat
Friday - 1 hour spinning
Is any part of what i am doing classed as strength training? in body pump we use dumbells and bars and in kettlebell, well, a kettlebell.
I have been told to use a gym and use the free weights but i can't afford the gym, i work for a large company and use their after work classes to my advantage but i am worried that what i am doing is all just going to be a complete waste of time as it's not 'lifting' as such.
Has anyone had any success in doing similiar to what i have been doing? i'm not after a six pack, i just want to fight the flab and be more definied.
thanks

Good question, glad you asked it - I have started doing two Bodypump classes a week and was hoping that would class as an introduction to strength training but I think the actual lifters on here might see it a bit differently so I'll be interested to see the responses.0
