Water Weight

How can you tell you have water weight and how would one go about trying to loose perhaps this said water weight?! hehe :)

    cut salt/sodium from your diet and you will see the water weight melt away.

    You can purcahse a scale that measures your water % and displays it for you. Very handy to see if your weight fluctuation is actually caused by water % increase or decrease.

    To get rid of it, you can cut sodium, cut some carbs, or possibly take a water pill if it's bloating.

    Drink lots MORE water ;) I thought this was stupid until I finally tried it myself. The more water you drink, the more willing your body will be to let it go <3
  • All awesome! thank you, I had no idea that there was a scale capable of doing so nor would I imagine drinking more water could help, both things I'll look into right away and yes of course SALT! lol.

    The amount of sodium in the blood has a close relationship to the amount of water in the body. Blood sodium level depends on the amount of sodium and water you consume and the amount you excrete in your urine. Some sodium also leaves the body in sweat and fecal matter. Too little water and sodium levels increase. Too much water and sodium levels decrease. Both conditions cause complications

    I've started making SURE I load up on the water each day. I am so hydrated, I slosh when I walk.

    I start off each morning while waiting for the coffee to brew, by drinking a 16oz glass of water. I keep a water bottle handy all day. I also tend to knock back a glass or two in the evening too, not good for remaining in bed peacefully sleeping, but fantastic for losing water weight.
