Determining calories burned at work

Hi guys, I'm new here, so excuse me if I post this in the wrong place.
I work as a landscaper/maintenance guy, and as such, the specifics of what I do when I work change day to day. Some days i'm weed whacking in the hot sun for 8 hours, other days I'm scraping down oil stains with a spade and renovating old factories. Is there some way I can ballpark my calories burned for each workday. The MFP exercise database doesn't have specific activities that I perform on the job. Thanks!

if you are always active at your job, i don't think the right approach is adding it as exericse, i would change your 'normal daily activity' level under your diet profile to whatever is more appropriate (active or very active).0

That does make a lot more sense. Thanks for the quick reply0

Hi, Yes I too had this problem because my work requires me to be active as well.. I just changed my setting to active during the day.. Good luck :-)0
