I just found my OLD iPod from high school and early college which got me thinking and curious about what other people listened to when they were younger.

I was a HUGE Something Corporate and Incubus fan.

    You?!?

    I was obsessed.

Earlier than that though, I took a shine to a ZZ top album my Mother had. I think I just liked their awesome beards.

Early 80s was my teenage angst years - I was totally in awe of these guys (I'll be astounded if anyone recognises the second band)

    The Beatles

Beatles, Beach Boys, and Queen. I couldn't choose one if I had to. This list has remained the same my whole life. If I had to give up all but three artists, these are the three I'd keep: a little rock, a little British Invasion, and a little doowop........but since I don't have to choose, I've also got the Hollies, Lou Christie, Loving Spoonful, Rascals, Peter and Gordon, Chad and Jeremy, The Monkees, Neil Diamond, Chicago, Elton John, The Eagles..........etc.

Of course, liking my parents' music when I was younger was much easier because that's all anyone listened to. Nowadays, I'm painfully out of touch with my peers' tastes and references. Oh well, at least I have my music.

When I was a teen, it was all about Bon Jovi!!

I had the big hair, the bleached jeans with peak-a-boo cutouts, leather fringed boots and the classic Mustang muscle car to go with it all ;) lol

I used to listen to Korn and Limp Bizkit. I wonder if I'll be laughing at what I listen to now...15 years down the road.
