Workout with an injury

I was training for a 15k, which I did complete but I injured my foot doing the training, soft tissue and joint inflammation damage. YAY!

Result, I am in a walking boot and have been instructed no impact on my foot. Which means no running, high intensity, elliptical. . . .pretty much everything I do.

Can I get some ideas as to what I can do with this darn thing on my foot!?!?! I am going berserk!

If it hurts more than a week be sure to talk with your doctor! I waited four weeks after my injury to go to the doctor thinking that it would work itself out and it just inflamed it more! I could be running now if I gotten my MRI back when it first happened!

I could possibly get my boxing workout on. Just nix the kicks or leg changes. Good thinking!!

Check with your doctor, but I was able to use an exercise bike when I had a stress fracture (fibula, right above ankle). I also did seated upper body strength training.

And I played a lot of video games and ate a lot of Butterfingers.
