I have a number of good ones. But I mostly use Runtastic and Sworkit Pro. It sort of depends on the type of exercises you do and how you do your workouts as to which work best. And, of course, what you want from the app. There are lots of great ones.

I use the Accupedo app on my smartphone. It's a pedometer that logs your steps (you can set your stride) and the distance walked and calories burned. You can adjust your weight in it, so it will change right along with you.

I am also using the C25K and Fitrocity on my smartphone.

I'm a cheap-*kitten* so I use free apps  I use the c25k (and c210k) apps by zen labs, mapmyrun, charity miles (donate money when you run!!!), and a bunch of free daily <body part> workout apps (daily butt, daily leg, and daily ab are my favorites).

I used to use mapmyrun and mapmywalk, but switched to endomondo. Liked it enough to pay for the full version, which was still cheap. I just found that with my iPhone the accuracy was much better (especially the gps function). Of course moving it to the back of my hip rather than in my pocket helped greatly - used to look like I staggered back and forth across the street like a drunken sailor.

Nike plus for my cardio!!! I add my friends that like running too and we compete. It get crazy how many miles we put in during the week. Sometimes I end up running twice a day not including my strength workout.

    Runkeeper

I have been using Runkeeper, but has given me kinda wonky numbers on two occasions.

    Example:
Friday I dropped my car off for an oil change and decided to walk to finish a few errands. I paused it as needed, such as walking in a store, etc. When I stop the workout/app it said I had gone 60+ miles in 30 minutes!

Then I have had trouble with doing "intervals" with it. It is set to chime in at certain times, which works great, but I think the going from jogging to walking is messing it up (or when I need to pause it, such as when I am jogging in place for a few minutes then starting to walk again.) It will say my time when jogging intervals with steady (3.5 mph) speed of walking is 23 minutes!! :noway: I walk with my short fat legs a steady 3.75-4mph, no way that my time slows that much with jogging!

I do have to add that when I have not paused it I have no issues with the app. or time. I think it is a glitch in the app or maybe my location (rural) that when paused it messes up the time.

I also use mapmyhike for the hikes and walks with my dog, since mapmyhike calculates calories for elevation change.

'Zombies,Run' is the most fun of the run trainers. Edmondo to track the stats.

Fit Builder. Its a pay app, but its been worth it. I can create workouts, log my workouts (reps and weight), and track my weight and progress.
