I am also a metal head from the UK! I like classic rock and punk too (Planet Rock radio is never off in my house). I like too many bands to list them all!

Hello! I enjoy some metal. I also like a variety of genres, anywhere from Dirty Rotten Imbeciles to black sabbath to nirvana to sublime to lynard skynard; my ears are very diverse, lol. . I am a fan of the big 4 and some pretty obscure metal as well. :) I just like what sounds good to my ears. I like a lot of my local bands as well, which some are metal, such as Anti-Mortem and Aranda; you should check them out. Add me if you would like. :) I am hoping to see Megadeth and Hell Yeah in July!! \m/

I listen to pretty much everything but country, gospel, and poka. It really depends on my mood. I swear if someone found my ipod they would think 15 different people used it.

Big power/symphonic metal junkie here, it's great motivation when doing cardio! Also love me some long-haired men (if a bit jealous of their locks, too).

My top ten in no particular order:
    Sonata Arctica
    Blind Guardian
    Nightwish
    Kamelot
    Falconer
    Turisas
    Voyager
    Rhapsody of Fire
    Galnaryus
    Epica

I always considered them more in the heavy rock vein--like Sevendust. Heavy, but not quite what I think of as metal. I suppose they would fall into nu-metal.
