Favorite "offbeat" movie?

I was looking for something to watch last night on DVD, and found out that I had a copy of Grosse Pointe Blank. Now, I had seen that movie years ago, but didn't even know I had a copy.... who knows, maybe it was my wife's from before we got married.... In any case, that is probably my favorite "offbeat" movie.

What is yours?

    LOVE that movie

I used to watch Better Off Dead all the time. It has John Cusack.

I recently watched Drop Dead Fred for the first time in years... still a pretty fun movie.

Black Snake Moan. Never heard much about it, but I watched it and I really liked it. JT should quit his music career and stick to acting. LOL.

I LOVE Gross Pointe Blank! But then I'm a huge John Cusack fan. Hot Tub Time Machine was hilarious!

Stage Beauty - about when England outlawed men from playing women's parts in plays and allowed women instead

Dangerous Beauty - about the life of a courtesan in Venice before and during the black plague with a bit of inquisition thrown in

    See a theme?

    Good choices.

My all time favorite is also an offbeat one, "Harold and Maude".

Boogie Nights! The first time I watched it was in the theater late at night and I fell asleep and hated it. But now I think it is awesome!

I'd say "Lost Highway" or "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"
