Am I doing something wrong?!

Hi there!
I was just wondering if I could get some thoughts/input/advice from all you over 200 ladies?!
I have been slowly losing weight since the end of March, but I find I might go all week without a loss even if I did stick to my exercise and clean eating. But I have been seeing the inches coming off instead (14 inches since April in fact). Have anyone else experienced this?! Where the scale hasn't moved much, but the inches have been coming off?! (I'm not complaining, just wish I would also see the scale move for some extra motivation!)
Just wanted to hear from all you awesome ladies on this!

Hey hon,
14 inches is FANTASTIC! I wish I had that!
I know it's discouraging not seeing the scales down. Do you weigh weekly or daily? I weigh daily - it's taken me three years not to get discouraged but I like keeping tabs on it - last week I had a stall for three days (and gained ounces) and then at the end of the week I stuck to it and was rewarded.
I know some people choose to either focus either on inches or weigh in monthly/fortnightly. Sometimes it's better to take the month's weight loss rather than the week, especially as a woman with things like PMS, menstruation and other factors.
My advice would be to ditch the scales for a week or two (bathroom, not kitchen!) - focus on how you feel in yourself because at the end of the day, that is all that matters. I weigh about 2 stone more than I look, and I've just got to get used to the fact I'm never going to see the magical 9 stone on the scales without looking emancipated - we're all different

Thank-you so much for replying to my post! That's the best advice I could have asked for!
I do weigh daily because I wanted to get to know my body a bit better starting out! But I think I just might wait and weigh in two weeks time and see what happens!
Thanks ever so much!! xx0 -
i would start by only weighting your self once a week or every 2 weeks like you said and one thing i have heard said to me many many times because i have no patience at all lol is , it took time to put on the weight so it will take time to get it off. you may be gaining muscle loosing fat at the same time. just keep going you will get there0
