New to the game

Hello! I have battled with my weight my whole life. I had my weight under control in my early 20's. I cannot tell you when or why I lost control, all I know is one day I woke up and my body was not the same as it used to be. I am a very proud and confident person, so I cannot sit here and say I am not happy with myself. I will admit that I am not happy with what I see, but I am successful in everything that I do and that gives me the motivation to carry on and be the proud and confident person that I am. But this is not enough, not anymore. Bottom line, I am not healthy. I need to make a lifestyle change. It is time! A friend introduced me to My Fitness Pal and it's strong community and let me tell you, this program looks amazing! I am only a few days in, and I love it! I have 100 pounds to lose and with this program, I know I can do it!

Hi, I am also new to this site but not to trying to lose weight. I'm looking for tips to navigate this site, and for a roadmap if you will to getting started. Years ago, I joined weight watchers and was successful to a degree. Now, I am starting fresh. No turning back :)

Great attitude!! You CAN do this! You just need to commit and acknowledge that every day matters :0) Be honest on your logs and learn from the bad days, and you'll be fine.
