I'm so pissed I gained back 14 lbs. Everyone says I still look good...but now I don't fit into the size 12 jeans I was in! I was so proud of myself...then I let myself go. I have no vices...I just love food. Why can't I just eat what I want and be happy? I need motivation...badly.

Don't get discouraged! Forgive yourself and move on...but really MOVE!! If you exercise you'll have "earned" some extra calories to eat! Put those size 10 jeans you want to fit back into on a hanger and put them somewhere you'll see them everyday!!
    GOOD LUCK!!! STAY MOTIVATED!!
  • i completely understand I am in the same situation right now, and I got rid of all the bad for me food in the house to remove the temptation of eating what may not be good for me. Forgive yourself and move forward which is what I am doing

    Blame TONY!
but only don't blame the food...you gotta keep moving! If you do so, you'll continuously remind yourself what the real deal is in your life....

I did the same thing. I met my goal and gave myself and inch and took a mile. I gained 7 lbs back and am currently yoyoing the same 5 lbs. I cant believe how fast it comes back on! I'm just moving on and keep exercising and trying to eat right. I refuse to be my own worse enemy =)

I think the important thing to remember is this is all a learning process. now you know what your capable of and "new" wt is a lot easier to take off then "old" wt =)

Try not to be so hard on yourself . . .I got off track in the last couple months and gained 20 lbs. .. in 2 MONTHS!!!! :embarassed: That's the reason I found MFP and got started back this week . . .plus I have more than just that to lose as well. But the important thing is that we never give up & just keep trying. I have found that the more I beat myself up for mistakes, the worse it gets. . .it's a vicious cycle. I've found that the best thing to do is just keep focusing on the fact that "today is a new day" and move on. And believe me, I know from experience it's way easier said than done. . .so I guess I'm just saying you're not alone in this struggle. . .I'm right there with ya!! But WE CAN DO THIS!!!!

UGH! I did the same thing. I went on vacation for 3 weeks and grew out of the pants I had just bought two weeks before I left. :grumble:

BUT, the important thing is to realize that if you did it once you can certainly do it again. And this "new" weight seems to be a little bit easier to take off than it was the first time.

Drink lots of water, get back into your eating/exercise schedule, and you'll be back in those size 12s in no time.
