Thought that I would share my Farmers Market finds from today.

    I'm on my way to my farmer's market for some fruits & veggies. I'm glad mine's open during the week, too, so I don't have any spoilage. :happy:

    Yum! I need to head out to the Farmer's Market today too... more vendors there today, even though it is open during the week as well. Trying to get together a menu plan so I know how much veggies I need to buy!

    Mine is only open on Saturdays. I wish it was open all week! There is an organic store in town, but every time I have stopped in their produce looks pretty old.
    I'm thinking a stir-fry is in order for today's lunch!

    Beautiful picture! We've had a Farmers Market on Friday nights for years. Since I don't really cook much during the weekends the Friday night market didn't work too well for me and my family, but they recently added another one on Sunday mornings, which I like better because we can start our week with fresh produce!

    yummy! no watermelons here yet, but today I got:

    bok choy
    tomatoes
    zucchini
    super-sweet corn
    cabbage
    fingerling potatoes

    and a bottle of patchouli lotion! I absolutely love the farmers market

    Went to mine today and people were standing three deep tp buy stuff so I went to a local produce stand instead but I got beautiful green beans, squash, cucumbers, yummy tomatoes (had a tomato on whole wheat for lunch) and BLACKBERRIES!!! The blackberries were almost better than...well nevermind...hahahaha!
