I'm new to the site. I've tried to lose weight many times before and have failed.
I was 160 at one point and got down to 120 then shot up to 180 (which is my highest).
I'm currently at 171 and I'm ready to lose.
My method is counting calories, walking, and doing pilates.

I am new as well, but this site is very comprehensive and the people are very encouraging. Logging in was a first great step, and forget about past failures...you are moving forward and trying something new! Way-to-go!

I am new to this site also. My sister- n - law told me about it. She has lost 25 lbs this past year. I signed in about a month ago, but didn't come back. I had lost 20 lbs. in 3 months using the 3 day "melt it off". However, I didn't follow the program for 3 weeks and gained 12 back. I have decided to try this site again. I signed-up for Jillian Michaels website also. Her site's food diary is more difficult to navigate. I will be using this one instead. I have joined "100 Miles in Aug." challenge on JM's site. If anyone would like to join it includes all physical activities. Example: 45 min. of cardio = 2 miles. I will tell more about it later.
