I have 48lbs to lose or free to good home :)

Hello from Cheshire, looking for friends, since 25th March I have lost 17lbs however I have another 48lbs to shift at least 26lbs to be able to ride my young horse without breaking her knees.

Completely out of the blue back in February after an 11 year break I decided to buy myself bought a 3 year old welsh cob 14'1hh it was only when I got her back to the yard I realised that I needed to lose weigh before I start to ride her. Luckily enough I am riding a friends horse at the moment to get fit, but I really want to be riding my own. I have surprised myself by my fitness not being too bad, however it isn't great either. I would love to start jogging but I'm too afraid of the nasty comments I would receive as I wobbled along, so maybe that's another reason to lose weight. Looking for like minded diet buddies x

I'd love to be friends on MFP and help encourage each other along. I have very similar stats, I've lost 15 lbs from my highest weight ever, but would like lose at least 55 lbs from where I am now before I learn how to maintain.

I rode for years and as my boys are getting older, I am hoping to get back into it one day. Probably not soon, but hopefully within the next couple of years. Maybe I can live vicariously through you until then!

A little about me - I'm 43, married for 19 years, work full time in a very demanding job and have two boys ages 14 and 12 that keep me very busy. I also have two dogs that need more exercise than they currently get from me!

I was once an avid runner and hope to be again, as nothing helps keep the weight off, but I'm so heavy right now it is like starting from scratch. But I'm in the right mental space now to know that if that is what I have to do so be it.

Looking forward to getting to know you.

(Oh and if you find a taker for your 48 lbs, see if they'd like add some from me!)
