    That's terrific.

I also hit this milestone recently and am now at 29BMI. Amazing feeling.

    You should be so proud!!
I weighed in today at 220 pounds (height 6-0) and my BMI is now 29.8. I am no longer "obese." I was over 405 pounds in February 2012. No longer being obese was one of my major goals with my weight loss. My goal is to get down to about 190-200 pounds with a muscular/athletic build. I have done mostly swimming, walking, hiking, and weight training for exercise. For diet, I just try to use portion control and common sense with lots of fruits and vegetables. I just wanted to share the goods news here.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments. It's been a hard journey but very rewarding. My son was my source of inspiration when he told me "Dad, you're too fat!" It really broke my heart and I knew and I had to make a change. I'm been working hard and exercising now about 2-3 hours a day. I have been taking monthly photos charting my progress. I'm working on a video that I plan to post on YouTube once I get to my goal weight hopefully so I can inspire others.
