Working out after C-Section

Hi! I had my baby 9 months ago and every time I try to work out I get the worst pain where my incision is. I don't want to stop working out but It is seriously one of the worst pains I have ever experienced. Because of where it is everything rubs against it, pants, underwear etc. Does anyone have any advice for me? Like I said its been 9 months and I'm ready to get back into shape.

I also have had two c-sections. It does take awhile to feel right at the incision. I would suggest wearing the tummy wrap they give you after your c-section while you exercise. It will give you a little extra support and keep your clothes from rubbing it. Good Luck!0

That's a great idea!! That tummy wrap was so comforting after C-section it could certainly help now too.0

If you don't have that.. a little girdle goes a long way. It took almost a year before I even had feeling down there again.0
