Building Lean Muscle

Hello to anyone who is reading - I recently read some articles regarding building lean muscle and the ever-desired 6-pack abs! For someone my current weight, it suggested: 195g protein, 65g carbs, and 26g fat. Thoughts? I am a big fan of trial and error and figuring out what exactly is best for my body, so I am going to give it a whirl and see how my body responds, just wanted some input from some MFP peeps. thanks & have a fit-tastic day

That seems pretty aggressive to me. Do you really think you could sustain that long term?
Second...
That's only 1275 cals... you aren't going to be building much of anything on so few cals.
Last...
I'd increase fats a bit (double what that site suggested)... they are important in a number of ways
On a side note, IMO...
Either the site is absurd or you need to use a little more common sense and some more realistic numbers/goals. 195g protein, 65g carbs, and 26g fat isn't a good way to accomplish much of anything long term.0 -
All I know is that I wouldn't let MFP calculate my numbers. I tried doing so when I first got on here and my numbers, for a cut, where I came to find out too low. I did my researched and discovered a way to calculate your own numbers based on age, height, weight, goal and activity level and I manually imputed them onto MFP..
On that note 195 for protein, even though I don't know your weight but know you're a female seems really high. Just as 26 grams of fat seems really low.0 -
Macros are odd. Too much protein, not enough fat, not enough carbs. Carbs are vital for muscle gains as they trigger your body's insulin production which helps to shuttle the nutrients around your body.0

You can do this without carbs... whey is highly insulinic.0 -
