Intermittent All Day Workout

Please keep in mind I have 140 lbs to lose and haven't done any real hardcore exercise in a really long time. I work at home, so I was trying to think of exercises I could do a couple in 5 minutes of every hour while I work and then get back to work. Any suggestions?

I've seen some great challenges on pintrest, here is one I'm trying today. Allegedly you burn 100 calories for each circuit, not sure if that's true but it felt good and energizing!
40 jumping jacks
30 crunches
20 squats
10 push-ups
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the input!! I'm going to try these. I won't be able to do many pushups though. I'll be lucky to do one, but you have to start somewhere.0

You can also add in there wall sits and arm circles. I know it sounds funny but arm circles will get a nice burn going. Try 100 forward and 100 backwards. Good luck!0

That's a good idea!0

oh and for your push ups you can always do modified pushups. Start against a wall or on a counter until you can work your way down to the floor.0

Great idea! I'm at a desk job all day, and really should take some time to do something. Maybe some squats and arm circles. I'm not really into getting down on the floor in my office, just in case someone comes in while I'm down there!0

Great suggestions given. There are lots of daily and monthly challenges on here that you can do at home and then post on each thread. The "community" feeling helps me do those. I recommend abs/crunches and squat challenges.0
