Just want to say hello.

Hi all,

I have a huge amount of weight to lose. I'm 5 ft 7 and my current weight is 392 pounds. I need and intend to get my weight to within a normal, healthy range, whatever that may be. I struggle with confidence and I find it difficult to keep going when I don't see quick results but this time I'm sticking with it no matter what.

I'd like to make some new friends to travel this journey with. If you would like to add me as a friend please do.I need to lose 230 pounds so it's going to take time and a lot of work. So time to start my journey! x

    I spotted your post and saw that no one had replied and thought I'd drop you a line. I too have an awful lot of weight to lose and it is going to be a long and probably difficult journey but, like you I am determined to succeed. I think I am probably a lot older than you but I don't see why that should stop us being friends and helping each other. i am 53 and live in Newcastle upon Tyne. I know it's not very near to you but at least we're in the same country. If you want, please add me as a friend and message me anytime. I will do my utmost to help you.     Welcome to MFP and good luck to losing the weight. Chosing a healthy lifestyle...over the quick solution pills, powders and shakes... is great. Remember its a journey not a race, the weight did not come on over night.... and its not going to come off over night.
