Cheap, Filling, Low Calorie Foods?

Options
Hey guys, first post here so be gentle

What would you consider to be the Gold Dust of dieting/losing weight *EXCEPT FRUITS AND VEGGIES*?

The stuff you can eat a lot of and not worry about your budget or your calorie count?

Any suggestions appreciated, cheers!

Sorry! I know people say you can eat an unlimited amount of fruit and veg and will be fine but would like to leave that out for this one

I like the Laughing Cow Extra Light Triangles, only 20 cals each

i'm going to break your rule and say celery with ranch veggie dip. The dip is made from 1 cup of fat free greek yogurt and 2 tsp ranch seasoning. Great snack loaded with protein.

i love me some 100 calorie kettle popcorn! i find it to be a lot and it satisfies my sweet tooth. i also eat oats every morning with 1 packet of truvia and some cinammon AND put some chia seeds in it. Hope this helps! i'm not a success story but i've been losing some lbs having this in my pantry and lunch box!

Honestly, salad is the best thing I've found.

But fitting your criteria, I'd go with:

    Beans
    Chicken or Turkey
    Oatmeal
    Water lol
Eggs, the only caveat being that the best eggs (pasture-raised, naturally fed, free-range, real healthy eggs) are gonna cost more than factory farmed ones. But for me, the difference in taste, texture, and nutritional content is worth the extra dollar.

beans and rice together make a complete protien, eggs with some guacamole (very filling, gives a good protien boost for the morning), oatmeal with a sprinkling of nuts and raisins (honey for sweetner, and skim milk), and since we all hate veggies (well....) i like to add things to my salad that makes it taste good so i dont feel like a cow muching on hay: pine nuts, sunflower seeds, feta cheese, dressing, and dried cranberries (all of these are high fat, so make sure its a tablespoon or less, and get the low fat options for the dairy)
