Hi everyone,

I just had a question about healthy fats and sources.
I've tried over the past few months to incorporate healthy fats like nuts and seeds into my diet, but I've found that I'm quite sensitive to them. I've tried everything from almonds and almond products to sunflower seeds and peanuts, I've tried getting organic nuts to see if I was sensitive to some of the fertilizers used on them, and no such luck. The one that I can handle the best is organic all natural peanut butter, but even then I find that I get extremely bloated and feel very sick. So obviously my body does not like it for whatever reason.

So my question is this, what are some other healthy fat sources? I know there's salmon, but it's pretty expensive where I am, so I can't always get enough to have it everyday. The only dairy I really eat is 0% plain Greek Yogurt, I'm hesitant to add any other dairy products, but feel free to suggest them! I'm very sensitive to dairy as well though.
So yeah, if anyone can help me out I'd really appreciate it!

avocado, couple table spoons of OLIVE oil, 2 tbs natural peanut butter instead of peanuts might be easier on you

Any natural fat is fine. My go to fats are extra virgin olive oil, organic butter, avocado oil, duck fat, coconut oil, homemade ghee and in food I get most of my fats from avocado's, full fat yogurt, fatty cuts of meat like rib eye, pork shoulder, salmon, bacon, duck, home made sausages, lamb etc.......I get around 40% of my calories from fat.

Edit - sounds like you are sensitive to nuts...not fats

I get most of my healthy fats from olive oil, organic coconut oil, avocados, and the proteins I eat. I also eat nuts and handle them fine but my husband can not eat them unless they are cooked. I also make protein bars with coconut milk in them, that has a lot of fat.
