That probably makes you think im a good running, youd be wrong

At a local venue where they have a full and half marathon they do a mini one for kids/ family/ schools where its a mile and 1/2 course. My 7 year old has just started running with me and heard about it and said can i do that  So we are gonna book on it, we have a while to build him up ( he does just over a mile atm with me) as its in September. My 6 year old might be joining us too

Its a first for all of us

Anything i need to think about or need to know?

to clarify, you will be running 1.5 mies?

Make sure all of you have good fitting running shoes. Slowly build them up, their little legs need to work faster than yours, so starting with a run/walk is a good idea. Check with the children's doctor about any questions. For you, just keep on running, your stamina will come. You have plenty of time.

    Yeah its 1.5 miles.

Both are used to lots of running as they play rugby. Just not road running with hills but they are getting there.
