New and Ready to Go

Hey everyone!

I'm new to MFP, but unfortunately not new to dieting. :( I've done diets where I've done really good for a long time and then I've splurged one day and fallen off the wagon. This time, I need to stay motivated and get into shape if I'm going to be racing (which is a family thing, so it's something that I NEED to do).

I'd love to have a pal to chat with who has the same goals as I do. I'm starting at 213 and working my way down to 165 which is where I was before I got pregnant with my son (5 years ago!). I don't have the body structure to be 130, or I look sickly- so we'll see how I look at 165 after having 2 kiddos!

Anyway, I look forward to chatting with some of you and hopefully being able to contribute to the forum.

  • Welcome to the site. You can do this. Just remember that this isn't a diet, but rather a lifestyle change. If you make small lifestyle changes it will become the normal thing for you instead of just another diet. Everyone on this site can help you with anything you need. Good luck on your journey.
