Every Day vs. 5 Days per Week

So I workout 5 days per week religiously and I kind of use Saturday and Sunday as my rest and relax days. I do sometimes go for a walk, hit the pool, go play laser tag, shoot some hoops, etc. But for the most part, I want to relax and enjoy my weekend. Am I going to be hurting myself in the long run for not "working out" 7 days a week?

do you eat under or at your calorie goal on those 2 days... or you just not track your food on those days either.

It soundsike you work out lots to me, and the best part is that you have customized what works for you!! Also, your body needs rest days! I say keep it up, you're golden:)

I believe that it is best not to workout everyday, it gives your body time to heal. Also if you are just starting out you may injure yourself, burnout, and just plain over due it if you workout everyday. I also try to workout at least 5 days a week and try not to feel too guilty on the days I don't hit the gym.

I only started using MFP this week, but normally I eat the exact same stuff I eat day to day. Sometimes I might go on a date night with my wife and eat something I shouldn't. I guess if I am staying under the goal then I should be good. Though I may try to make it a point to at least get out and do SOMETHING. Even if it's not exercise, just be active. Thanks for the tips!

P.S. How the hell do I put my weight tracker in my post?

I think rest days are important! I workout 3x a day m-f, do a 5k on Saturdays sometimes and then NOTHING on Sundays. I just watch my cals that day.

I think 5 days is great. I think you need at least 1 day of rest :)
