I have had this problem to lately! I thought i was the only one. Lately I have been hiding it under sweatshirts and tops that aren't tight. I have also been drinking a lot of water to try to get rid of it.

Had same issue, had to do with stress and hormones. Drank a TON of water and kept up with my workouts and eating right...finally went down! And it went down fast once it did, don't give up or be too discouraged! It's a pain

High fiber eating can lead to gas bloat in your tummy. But it seems if that was the case, you'd know it.

I'd say if it doesn't go away soon, maybe see a doctor. There are underlying medical issues that can cause bloating like polycystic ovary disease, etc.

If you've just started drinking a lot of water, you will bloat until your body realizes that you are going to continue doing it and then it will release it.

Also, have you been working out a lot lately? The body will retain water to help with muscle recovery.

This has been an issue for me for two weeks. I thought it was PMS at first but once all my girl stuff passed, it's still hanging on! I haven't changed anything in my diet and am good at drinking water and staying away from high sodium, etc. My husband says I just need to poop more. Goofball :)!

I always bloat before starting my cycle. Try water pills. To much fiber and protein can cause you to bloat especially if you are starting a new diet, Try taking a probiotic as well.

If you want some relief from the bloated feeling you can aid your digestive system by rubbing your belly (I find it easiest to do laying down). You start above your right hip and go up to your ribcage, over and down in a circular motion. It's not a permanent fix, but help you at least feel more comfortable temporarily.
Twisting movements also aid in digestion :)

That was my first thought. Either that or water retention.

A good sweaty run or a long walk usually takes care of bloating for me.

I have experienced this, in my case it seems to be linked to cabbage family, having had a quick peek at your food diary I guess this is not the case?

perhaps cut back on the carbs?
  • It could be anything!

Time of month, too much fiber, too little fiber, food allergies, sodium...

Mine is worse at time of month, and I am getting tested for food allergies because I've been getting violently ill lately from certain food that never used to bother me.

Try and rule things out if you want (stay away from certain foods), otherwise drink lots of water, eat your daily fiber (25-30 grams a day), and watch sodium.

I had a bad bout with bloating a couple of weeks ago.... Turns out I was not having regular bowel movements.... Got a hold to some ground flaxseed, added it to oatmeal and smoothie.... More frequent bowel movements less bloating!

I consistently have this problem. I am going to my doctor cause I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. some have suggested it might be Irritable Bowl Syndrom and I have begun to think they are right.

I have this issue too and I started tracking it to see if I could find a pattern. Looks like it always happens mid-cycle for me so I think it is related to ovulation. Doesn't happen every month but it's always mid-cycle.

Have you recently started incorporating a lot of veggies or dairy? That will do it for me. I take a daily probiotic and it has helped TREMENDOUSLY.

This happened to me when I became gluten intolerant... Which then took me months to work out that was what was wrong with me. BUT!!!!! .... Have an honest look at your food diary, and see if there's something you can identify you may be having too much of etc or too often. Water doesn't make you more bloated unless you aren't used to drinking it then it takes a while to get used to.
Sometimes bloating just happens. Yucky, annoying and hopefully something you can fix
