problem with adding a recipe

Hi not sure if I am doing any thing wrong but I am trying to add a recipe to the database, I enter all details correctly but it keeps asking for a subcategory. However when I click the drop down part to choose it is blank & will not expand. Have tried several times but still the same problem.

Has anyone experience this & if so did you get to resolve?

    I've had the same problem. It worked fine a fortnight ago but I get the same message as you now :\

    Sometimes with problems like that it's the browser you're using. ie Firefox, Chrome, IE, etc. Try a different browser and see what happens.

    Tried in both chrome & internet explorer but still the same problem... will refer to troubleshooting.
