Hi guys!
So I've been on weight loss journey for some time now. I have lost 18 lbs but still have a long way to go. I usually run or walk for exercise. Running for an hour burning about 500 calories and walking for 2-3 hours burning the same. My question is recently I have noticed that my belly has skin has gone so soft and giggly and a bit that hangs down. Even before it wasn't hard but it wasn't this soft and giggly. It's like I can pull my belly skin in my hands from the bottom and top! But I have been doing running and walking I would thought it would of got better why has it gone like this?? It scares me. Any idea why?

Are you referring to loose skin? Skin takes awhile to "snap back." The longer skin has been stretched the long it will take, also "young" skin responds quicker too.0

This may not be helpful, but welcome to the world of post baby body. Some people bounce back completely, but a LOT of women end up with a little bit of sagginess, permanently wider hips, stretch marks. If you look in success stories, you will see before and after pictures of people who clearly have had a baby, and can get an idea of the natural variation post-baby.
It probably would be a good idea to be lifting weights as you lose, and you probably need to give it a year or two once you get to goal weight to see how your body is going to end up.0 -
To be honest, I think it's a good sign of your body letting the fat underneath go. Try not to stress about it, just keep going. It shoud tighten up again when you give it some muscle underneath to cling to!0

give up the cardio (mostly) and start weight training. Weight training helps burn fat more effectively and increases metabolism. Stay hydrated and use lotion every day. Genetics plays a large part in loose skin, but those other things can help.0

I'd add some weight training into the mix. That will help.0
