My meals vary, but this is an average day of food for me...
BREAKFAST
1 piece whole wheat toast
1 tbsp natural peanut butter
1 banana
1/2 container of non-fat yogurt
LUNCH
4 oz tuna
1 tbsp light mayo
1 low-carb pita
1/4 cup edamame
SNACK
1 green apple
10 almonds with sea salt
DINNER
1 baked chicken breast marinated in BBQ sauce
1 cup broccoli or other vegetable
1/2 cup wild rice
SNACK/DESSERT
1 cup strawberries
That adds up to about 1200 calories, which is my daily allowance. I also drink 5 bottles (10 cups) of water a day. About two nights a week, I treat myself to a Cherry Coke Zero at dinner. I'm not a big veggie person, but I'm trying!
My weekends have always been a problem. We only eat out about once every weekend, but I tend to eat a lot on Saturday and Sunday. I hear one cheat day is good to "trick" your metabolism into not slowing down, but two is probably too much. I'm just so used to it now that it's hard to break the habit. I'm working on it.

Looks like mine, almost. As long as you're losing and the doctor hasn't said you're not eating enough, and you feel satisfied, I say keep up the good work! Take a peek at my diary if you'd like to compare notes, lol!0

I think it's a very good and balanced meal plan but some say you should eat more than 1200 kcals... But lots of people who are losing weight eat 1200 a day or less and are still alive. If you think it's enough for you then it is.
And you drink loads of water during the day, good job, keep it up !0
