Started my first diet last Saturday on my 65th birthday . The first week has gone well and I have lost almost 5 lbs. This site is an amazing resource to track your progress. I`m trying to get back to the 180 lbs that I weighed when I was 40.

Hi, if you need anymore friends to help you on your weight loss journey please feel free to add me. No pressure but I would be happy to give support if I can. I'm 53 and have gained such a lot of weight through health issues and i am now absolutely determined to lose it all. I think that I will just become a permanent MFP user, then at least I should be able to get out of the terrible habit of using food as a crutch to get me by in life. I wish you every success in your weight loss quest and feel free to message me at any time. Good luck! X0

thanks for the encouraging words Udderly. I'm finding that going to MFP daily definitely keeps me focused on the job at hand.0
