cant lose belly fat!

im 5ft 5 and 22 years old. ive recently joined the gym again and never in my life have a run on a tredmil (always avoided it). i faced my fears and run/jog/walk on the tredmil for 20 mins around 4 times a week now. i also do some weights, squsts, glutes machine, abductor machines etc. ive totally changed my diet, healthy foods and one meal daily is cooked in one tbs olive oil. m brown carbs is to a complete minimum. i still havnt lost belly fat!! its frustrating, i see weightloss on my top half and a little of my thighs.
isit possible that i cant lose belly fat? or am i doing something wrong at the gym

Fat comes off where it wants to come off - no way to spot reduce. You're making progress elsewhere on your body, just keep at it and the fat will start to come off your tummy too. For me, it's the butt, upper thighs & tummy - they have been the last to budge, but it is happening.

Take measurements and photos, sometimes you don't realize you're making progress with losing inches and fat if you're just going by the scale. Hang in there!

I'm the same. My legs and arms look awesome now but I still have a jiggly belly (worse for me becuase I have had 2 children).

I have started measuring it though, and it IS getting smaller so eventually it will be better. I think I will always have a slightly rounded tummy though. ...there is always spanx!

yeah, ive noticed some difference but i think maybe i need to be more patient. ive always dreamed of a almost flat stomach! I'm hourglass shaped to, so im hoping il lose some fat from the sides to i look overall smaller. i read that sometimes its genes that slow down the weightloss process. could it be that im 'genetically' designed not to lose weight :/
