I want to start cooking more at home because I know it is healthier for you but how do you get a calorie count if you use multiple ingredients?

It's really easy, you just add all of the ingredients of your recipe and it does it for you
You can create your own recipes too - I use this all of the time when I'm cooking for the family and not just something for myself, it's really good. When you go to add food there is a button to say 'Create recipe'. You give it a name and say how many servings it is then you simply weigh and add all your ingredients for the total dish - it works out the calories per serving for you when you add it to your diary (when you add it, you need to find it in your personal Recipes tab).

Add up all the calories, divide those calories by servings and there you go. A scale comes in handy for this, then you can divide it by ounces.
Ex: 2300 cal of ground lean turkey
+ 1500 cal of chili beans
= 3800 calories total
If it weighs 56 ounces you divide 3800 by 56 = 67.857 calories per ounce0 -
Oh ok. Thank you. I didn't think it would be that easy. Now I feel silly.0
