Unless you have genuine food intolerance or allergy, foods are not categorised into 'good' and 'bad'. Stick to your calorie/macro goal, that's what counts.

Tara, Feel free to add me as a friend so you can see my food diary. I try and eat good carbs every day and very little junk food.

Good carbs: Veggies and fruits of all kinds, oatmeal, whole wheat bread (but not a lot), sweet potatoes, etc... Eat unprocessed foods as much as possible. Not sure if you're a meat eater, but fish, chicken, and occasionally red meat with little fat is great protein sources.

Bad carbs: sodas of all kinds (steer clear completely), sugar, brown sugar, 99% of cold cereals, processed foods or essentially most things in a box.

the simple answer is biscuits are bad carbs veggies are good carbs.

So basically processed foods that are full of sugar are bad carbs.

Veggies, fruit natural foods are good carbs.

The more processing that goes into a food makes it not a good food.

Having said all that, as long as a food fits into your MFP diary and you don`t overdo things then there is no need to restrict it?
