The last 2 days I've had my oatmeal with blackberries.
I start the oatmeal on the stove. Add 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Let it boil for about 4 min. Then add 1/2 Cup of blackberries. When it's done, put it in a bowl and top with 2 Tbsp of chopped walnuts and 1 tsp of brown sugar. Love it.0 -

I'm in love with steel cut oats. They are worth the time. My favorite add ins: almonds, cinnamon, craisins, cocnut, pecans, and walnuts (not all together).0

I substitute TVP for oatmeal, add an egg or two. Then I top with Libby's canned pumpkin, DaVinci's sugarfree syrup, and 1 tbsp of flaxseed oil.0
